Greta

I FOUND MY FAMILY
This year I am trying to fund raise $1,000 for GretaGreta is a orphan born November of 1998 with down syndrome living in Europe her profile on Reece's Rainbow (http://reecesrainbow.org/32794/greta) says this,

Mama, are you out there?  Please come get me!  We are so happy for the chance to help sweet Greta find her family.

Greta is very petite; more the size of a 5 year old than the 13 year old she actually is.  Developmentally, she is quite delayed, probably closer to a 3-4 year old.  In many ways, she is toddler like. Greta is missing out on the essential things in life- a mama and daddy to teach her the things she needs to know, school lessons to maximize her potential for learning, and hope for a future.
From a family who visited with her in September 2012:  “Greta desperately desires to be loved and shown affection. It broke our hearts to see how desperate she was for attention. She would climb up us before we even knew what was happening and was clinging to us. She probably needs to go to a family that can devote a lot of one on one attention to her, and that she be the youngest child, because she can get aggressive when she is jealous for attention. I hope this helps her find a family.”

From a family who visited with her in August 2012:  “Love Greta!  She climbed over the playpen wall to hug on me.   She’s walking now, thanks to a team of foreign therapists who worked in that group.  She has so much potential- but needs a lot of love and a family!  I just know there has to be a family out there for this thin, wiry little girl, a family who likes to play and be energetic :) ”

Greta
Greta currently has $40.95\$1,000  fund raised right now which puts her adoption grant at $18,545.35 out of the $25,ooo needed to cover EVERYTHING EVEN  TRAVEL ,won't that be a blessing for her future family? Greta will age out in November of 2014 and be moved to a adult mental institution if she has not been already. Will you help me fund raise for her adoption? will you pray for Greta's health, for a family to step up, for the orphanage workers to come to know Christ. will you please share this on your Facebook in hopes of her family finding her? or will you do nothing?

I will share a video of Greta when $100 is fund raised!!!!

Reece's Rainbow : Noel

meet noel, I'm her guardian angel

Noel was born with hydrocephaly and severe cerebral palsy in October  of 2004  (which makes her 8 years old ).   She has had surgery and has a shunt for her hydrocephalus, but she is still just “existing” for right now.  She is blessed to still be at the baby house….the director can’t bear to send her to an adult mental institution where she would be left in a bed all day.

There is no way to know her potential until she is out of an orphanage and in her own family setting.  She will likely require 24 hour care  but will be a blessing to the family.   But she deserves a family of her own!

Because of her severe special needs, any family considering a commitment for Noel should be home study approved and have experience caring for a child with these significant needs

noel is listed on  Reece's rainbow
my song for Noel:

rock rock in my arms tonight
I'll tell you I love you
and hold you tight
dreams
dream about findings
I'll hold you some more until you wake
you are so lovely child
my heart my dreams my hopes are all for you
you are so lovely child
my heart my dreams my hopes are all for you

Reece's Rainbow; at rick of aging out

In Ukraine and Russia 10% -15% of children who age out of an orphanage commit suicide before the age 18

70% of the boys become hardened criminals

Many of these children accept job offers that ultimately result in their being sold as slaves.

Millions of girls are sex slaves today, simply because they were unfortunate enough to grow up as orphans.

Reliable statistics are difficult to find, even the sources often list only estimates, and street children are rarely included.

But even if these figures are exaggerated by double, it is still an unacceptable tragedy that over a million children would still become orphans every year, and every year 7 million children would still grow to adulthood as orphans with no one to belong to and no place to call home.

The disastrous outcomes of most children who age out of institutional care is evidence that these children don’t know the meaning of love, and are unable to comprehend God’s love.

Reece's Rainbow : Ginger and Jamie

WE HAVE A FAMILY

The sun beamed down on us as we walked along the beach's shore, Ginger hand tightly gripped my index  as she walked by my side, Jamie and colt were a step behind us. jet blue water rushes to fill the foot prints left behind, Jamie lets out a giggle as the water reaches her toes and gets swallowed into the river once again. I turn to watch as Jamie lovingly follows Colt , watching his every step as not to let him fall into the water's reach. Colt and Jamie have become great brother not to mention best friends.

But Jamie and Ginger aren't here, they're in an orphanage on the other half of the world

GingerJamie

Ginger and Jamie are 5 year old fraternal twins waiting for their forever family. They can only be adopted together as siblings.

GingerJamie
From a family who met them in 2012:
They were [children] I wanted to remember. We met them both on several occasions during our outside visits. Ginger was all over my hubs, tugging, pulling, hitting, and climbing all over him. To say she wanted attention from him is an understatement. She had lots of energy and always wanted me to pick her up. She always wanted me to hold her hand too! We went on several walks together. She’s a spitfire for sure! Jamie was a lovely little boy. He was always so helpful to the younger kids in their group. He loved to push the others on their bikes and was a big help to the nannies. They’re both available and would thrive with lots of love, structure, and attention. I’d be happy to share our experience if any one is interested!

GingerJamie
It sounds like they would be perfect siblings for a family, they will be blessed by Ginger's energy and Jamie's gift of loving others. But time is running out for them for they soon will be transferred to a mental institution for adults where they will be separated. WON'T YOU HELP THEM?
GingerJamie
would you please donate to their adoption grant on Reece's Rainbow http://reecesrainbow.org/41347/ginger-jamie-twins this money will help them pay for the heavy burden of adoption costs.

would you please share this on your Facebook or twitter page in hopes of their future family seeing their picture?

would you please pray for Ginger and Jamie  that they might get adopted soon as to stop their transfer to a mental institution?

Or are you Ginger and Jamie's mom or dad, there is a $4593.70 adoption grant that could help you cover the cost of  their adoption. Please hurry time is running out for them!
